Text | Marriage Bond dated 1801 Know all men by these present that we John Heenan of the parish of Saint Ann Westminster in the county of Middlesex Taylor are holden and firmly bound to the Right Rev, Father in God and ?? by Divine Permission, Bishof of London in the sum of two hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain, to be paid to the said Right Reverend Father or his certain attorney, executors, administrators or assigns: To which payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and each of us by himself for the whole, our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these present. Sealed with our seals, dated the twentieth day of January in the year of our Lord 1801 The condition of this obligation is such, that if hereafter there shall not appear any lawful Lett or impediment by reason of any pre-contract, consanguinity, affinity or any other lawful means whatsoever, that that ehe above bounden John Heenan, a widower and Marry Morris, a spinster May lawfully solemnize marriage together and in the same afterwards lawfully remain and contime for man and wife according to the laws in that behalf provided: and morever, if is not at this present time any action, suit, plain, quarrel or demand,moved or depending before any judge ecclesiastical or temporal for or concerning any such lawful imediment between te said parties: nor that eigher of them be of any other parish or plae, nor of any beter estate or degree, han to the judge at granting of the license is suggested and by him sworn to And lastly if the said mariage shall be openly solmnized in he church or chapel in the license specified, beween he hours appoiinted inn the constittions ecclesiasticla confirmed, and oaccording tot he form of the book of common prayer, now by law established and the above bounded parties do save hamrless and keep indemnified the above mentioned right reverend father in God, his chancellor and surrogates and all oher his officers and minisgers whatsover by reason of the premises a; then this obligation to be vpid or else to remain in full force and virtue.
